Schooner's - The left is on big/solid SW swells and comes across the reefs to the creek. Pretty rare. The "reef" north of Bowling Balls isn't Whiskey Shoals", that's a bit further on down the road.

A local - Schooners isn't a bad wave. There's an outside reef at "Bowling Balls" that gets really good on bigger swells. Have seen a few hollow lefts and long, workable rights there. January 12th there was a good day.

Re: same pic - I think the reef south of moat is called whiskey shoals, looks like a fun day. Do recall the swell size/period?
