OUCH - BECAREFUL! I SURFED HERE DURING ON AN AVERAGE DAY AND I SAW A SANTA CRUZ PRO BREAK BOTH OF HIS LEGS ON A DROP...HE WASHED TO SHORE AND SOME LOCAL KIDS BROKE HIS NOSE BY THROWING ROCKS AND SHOUTING "BEAT IT!" I GOT OUT AS FAST AS POSSIBLE AND DROVE AWAY. I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME

This is one of Monterey's easiest to find and easiest to surf breaks. Its virtually impossible not to see, driving down the coast, and when the winds are right, it can be a fun wave, if a bit spooky.
