Zimbo - I remember when they built the North Jetty. I remember you could here the rocks hit when the crane dropped them while you were surfing the pier. Harbor was crystal clear, we used to snorkel in it. Sad to hear bout the pollution now.

N Zed '76 - I haven't seen that many great whites since prawn trawling the south end of the Great Barrier reef in OZ in the early eighties. And since the Boulevard has shut down due to lack of sand there are at least twice as many snake sightings . . . especially that guy on the yellow DT egg, the one locals call "the Snake Charmer."
