Atmosphère
Fun everyone knows your name. Kinda chill. Kinda not chill. Lots of old timers who have been surfin' it forever and make the experience fun, as long as you show basic courtesy. A number of young punks and locals who sit at the point, especially in the summer, and think they own the place after they get off work or out of school. So many people watching up on the cliff makes you feel like you're surfing on a stage every time you take off.

Général
It is a good spot for mid-level surfers to advanced. This place gets huge on big swells, the and the 2nd and 3rd reef lefts are a good place to see what you're made of. They looks short and stubby, but the power in the drop and the curl are mind-bending!

Oregon/California - I grew up surfing in NJ all year long in 33 degree water in the winter..then i moved to cali in the bay are for 2 years..then i moved to oregon for 3 years...ive surfed every good spot from Seaside OR to Point Loma in San Diego now im back in the bay are...let me clarify that Seaside (the cove) in Oregon does have its good days..but mostly its an onshore victory at sea..NW winds never stop...and furthermore the town of seaside is absolutely horrible...bunch of rednecks...so all in all sure seaside does go off and im sure its epic..but really its tucked the fuck all the way up in some redneck town...Steamer Lane gets surfable waves pretty often...and the vibe is surfing man...there are skaters everywhere...good food..and beautiful mountains, redwoods, and palm trees....i mean cmon lets get real....its like the retards who claim Portland is a better city than San francisco...
