Drive past salmon creek about 2 miles. As highway 1 dips right down to the sand past portugese beach there is a unmarked beach with a creek mouth and a large rock in the line up.You cant miss the wave as there is a nice right hander breaking off and before the rock on larger swells.

Dropping tides can be better as it causes the wave to be ledgier..shorter boards are better as it is a good hotdog wave..treat the locals with respect and you will get waves

lol, this is funny... - We call that spot Second Chance because it blows out about an hour after Salmon. So if you burned your morning driving out and salmon crapped out you could at least justify yuor time with a short mushy wave. You don't even have to get your hair wet. I've only surfed it maybe 4 times in the last 10 years but only once did I see someone else do it?

Is this a Joke - i wouldnt even consider calling this place a surf spot. what does it break once a year? if that.
