Park by the pier on Ali'i Drive(where most tourists go) and jump in wherever you can. Paddle out so you're just outside of the Kona Inn. If its breaking you'll see people making perfect barrels!

It's a very challenging wave that only breaks on a big south swell. Fall too early or kick out too late, and you're smashed on the rocks. Short nice barrel when it's good. DONT SURF IT IF YOU'RE A TOURIST!!! YOU'LL PROBABLY GET HURT!!!
