a local - after carefully reading a lot of these comments it really makes me sad that most of the city people are placing better arguments then a lot of the locals. i have surfed the cut since i was ten and i rarely do anymore because the crowds are so retarded, but i occasionally hit it up. a word for the locals, lets get some more localism in the water, not just the internet. and lets focus on the people who deserve it, being rich doesnt necessarily make you deserving. and as far as us locals being rich because we live in the hamptons, its true for some, not for others. i guess you could say we like caviar with our 40's. so if you rip or not, surf there, show some local love, and follow the rules, and if you dont get the fuck out of the water. lets hope for a good summer 06.

hilarious - It was funny to see all the little kids surfing shitty shorebreak there this past summer everyday when there are other spots in town i wont mention with far better breaks. I love the "it broke a few years ago so ill still surf it now" mentality. It keeps people of the new and better bars.

a local - well it has been entertaining reading a lot of these comments, but then again im pretty bored. it disappoints me however that a lot of the locals are losing the comment battles against the city slickers. especially since im pretty sure ive never seen any localism at this break outside of the internet battles goin on here. for me i just dont bother to surf here in the summer, its just too crowded. theres still plenty of spots the slickers dont know about as long as you got some gas money. and the only people who have really ever gotten in my way here were swimmers, and we can just nail them. and as far as us being rich too because we live here. it is very true for some of us, and very untrue for others. me, i guess you could say i like a little caviar with my 40oz. anyways, have some respect everyone, and locals, if you have somethin to say, sign off the computer and say it in the water.
