Pull in infront of the jetty. First section witch brakes on rocks is fast and real tooby with west wind so make sure you paddle in angled. The second section is slow at high tide so do a few round houses before it picks up again. Third section is fast and tooby to so start to gain speed when the pileings are close to you.

Its the best spot in monmouth county that i know of. Its perfect. Has that nice rock reef drop in. While it boils infront of you, then it hits the cove shaped sand bar and just peels and peels. Surf it when the sunsets its so cool with that orange sky. Its right by an arcade so in the summer the beach gets crowded with tourist or as we call them bennies, and in the winter its just uncrowded lineups with beautiful waves.

Its fun has a lot of different qualities. It feels like your surfing 3 different spots in one wave. Long, but scary when its big cause the submerged rocks extend far out so when the swell is like 8 feet the clean up sets break really far out.
