sharks - about four months a couple of guys I know got chased out of the water by a shark. As far as I know no one has ever been attacked by a shark within a ten mile radius of brookings,, then again why would you want to surf within a ten mile radius of brookings? Its always 2 big or 2 small. and sporthaven is the worst beachbreak I have ever surfed with 20 other guys.

shark attack - yeah, i was readdint shark news on: sharkresearchcommittee.comsounds like it was 10-11 feet and it actually bumped a surfer.
