This spot breaks inside Grays Harbor on a sand bar. When it is huge and unruly on the coast this place will be perfect. It is rarely surfed because most people go to Westport and not many people know about this place. Waves are fast and steep but the rides are long and the surf is uncrowded. Have a blast!
Atmosphere
I surfed this place by myself one time and could not believe the quality of the wave. The Sea Lions freak you out a bit when you are alone.

DP, washouts, canyons - This place is my home. I am a local surfer they call me stoker, and I surf this spot all year round give or take a couple of months, and yes this spot, or these spots are fickle. But I surf it all the time. Had a perfect five foot day last week. I love this place, except when it gets to be like ten feet on the sand, this spot has broken too many boards, and just about every ding on my head and my boards are from this spot. awesome place, and good luck finding a day, most of the time the best time is in the middle of a storm.
